Introducing Timoni the Next-Gen Package Manager for Kubernetes - Stefan Prodan, ControlPlane
In this session, Stefan will introduce a new open source tool called Timoni.
Stefan will tell the story how he discovered CUE, a novel language, with a rich set of APIs which has the potential to revolutionise the way we think about configuration.
He will explain how Timoni leverages CUE to offer a better experience of creating, packaging and delivering apps to Kubernetes.
Finally, Stefan will demonstrate how Timoni can be used together with CNCF Flux and how Timoni overcomes the limitations of Helm and Kustomize.
